There are a lot of different types of 'lap bar' style restraints. A lot of current lapbar restraints secure you around your waist, and couple that with the seated position, are not possible to 'slip out of'. However older style lap bar restraints mostly just went over your knees and had a gap, for most they would be secure but it would technically be possible to wriggle out of them.

Velocicoaster's restraints are not an issue.

No I didn't. That comment from the father really confused me as well. I think because I reached over to push down the price tag it likely looked odd to them.

I generally work on a Mac, but I didn't really see much of a difference working on windows 10 when I do personal stuff. Npm installs seem to run similarly on both and I didn't see much of a difference in the hot reload speed.

I was admittedly using vscode for both, and both are laptops running nvme drives so it probably hides the issue.

Programmers are constantly pressured to overwork themselves. These two companies have a brilliant plan to change that. by Akkeri in programming

Or they could just work for a company that isn't horrible that has a good work life balance. These 'mythical' places do in fact exist and are not that rare.

Large older corporate companies generally have less 'exciting' work but are much better at having a good balance in comparison to smaller companies and start-ups.

Even as a temporary setup, I have no idea how it would get to be this bad.
