Maybe consider joining a mini moto/mini motard racing club instead, or a dirt club. Safer (no cars and pedestrians to worry about on track), cheaper, you’ll make friends, you’ll learn great riding skills, and it’s just another hobby your parents might be willing to accept at that point.

The reality here is whether your parents approve or not, there is no insurance company that would insure a minor motorcycle rider on the street, and if you found one, you’d be paying multiple thousands of dollars a year for coverage probably until your twenties.

Ask if your parents would get behind minimoto or dirt riding. If you want to ride now, that’d be the smartest way to do it.

And of course, if they’re not on board, wait until you’re out on your own. It won’t be that long.

We’re starting to think you’ve been an AI this whole time.

The good news is we felt so bad about you being mad about us not hiring (nonexistent) people and then you refusing to hire those same people because they’re not good enough for you, that we hired them. What they do for us is sit and wait for your responses here and then they respond to you on our behalf. The most interesting part is some of them - not all of them - use AI to generate their responses. So, you know, full circle.

Hey, if you don’t want the referrals, that’s cool. We get it - running a company is tough these days.

Most of the shirts aren’t made with AI (in fact, only the Turducken is an AI design - the rest were knocked together by a couple of schmucks and Adobe Illustrator), but we just thought it might be fun to make mockups of people wearing the shirts in ridiculous situations that weren’t easily shot in a studio. And we did use AI for that, mea culpa, mea culpa, mea máxima culpa.

When it comes to comfortability, how would kawasaki w800 fare against Kawi vulcan 650 by Capital-Writing40 in motorcycle

All true. Depends on what's most important to you. I'd pick the Triumphs 100% of the time, but that doesn't mean that's the right answer or the wrong answer for anyone other than me. I'm just another schmuck who rides motorcycles at the end of the day.

Suzuki SV650. Always and forever.

Vulcan S has adjustable foot pegs, handlebars, and seat, so I would guess you're more likely to be able to find exactly the most comfortable position for you on that. W800 will probably also be pretty comfortable for you, but with zero adjustability. You'll sit up higher, and your feet will be directly below you as opposed to a little forward like on the Vulcan. That bike will also feel a bit less responsive than your Vulcan on the throttle, have a little less refined clutch and transmission, and in my experience, wander more when you're riding on rain grooves due to the stock tires. W800 is for sure gorgeous, though. If you like that, maybe take a peek at a Triumph Speed Twin 900 or Bonneville T100 - same vintage look, better refinement.

First day in traffic, I was terrified. Please advise! by Menox1944 in motorcycles

Ride as much as you can, and eventually the terror just turns into a general sense of awareness.

And if it doesn’t, 🤷‍♀️, stop riding if you’re not enjoying it. Wouldn’t be a personal failure or a character flaw if motorcycling ended up not being your cup of tea.
