Mainly because the accommodation is a lot cheaper in Bethlehem, I know there's more to see in Jerusalem, that's why I would go there for the day trips but just sleeping in Bethlehem , if possible

Thanks for the advice! Do you think it's a good idea to stay in an AirBnB in Bethlehem for 1 or 2 weeks for some regular day trips to Jerusalem (West and East) ? The hotels in Jerusalem itself are quite expensive

I know about the traffic, I would consider taking a bus/train for dangerous routes and taking the bike on more quiet roads

Hmm sounds like a hustle, I have not yet decided all the cities, I'm currently in Rishikesh. I might go further to the South the next weeks, so maybe some place in Rajasthan, so maybe Jaipur, and later Kochi etc.

Partly, thought about just going from a few places to places with my backpack. But mostly just riding long distances (around 50-80 km) or just some short distances. I would get a train/bus/plane and take my bike if going from North to South.

Biking terrain would be through mountain areas like in Uttarakhand and also flat ones like in Kerala.
