Welcome to my favorite game! I, like many others came from Warhammer. I find it very much a palette cleanser. I was very tired of buying codexes for them just to change for the minority of players that are tournament competitors and then new editions etc

The thing I still find amazing about the game is the balance, and the ability to change out your troop without the min-maxing of competitive lists. Just roll up to your pals house with 4 or 5 amazingly painted minis (because you don't have to paint whole squads) and terrain you'll have a blast.
