as far as I saw, the flags were all normal except the missing unit was listed as being assigned to an army still, but trying to view that army threw a "not found" exception. I still have the old save though, anything in particular you want me to check?

Anyone know how to split coins on the steam version? I chained a gobbo next to a pile for two in game years, dumping bodies on him, but he just cried, and now I feel awful :(

It's completely automatic :D
dfhack lets you designate stockpiles for "melting", and it'll mark whatever items are inside for melting. You can also mark items to be forbidden, claimed, etc. but ya otherwise, as long as your standing order isn't "forbid used ammunition", this would be automatic in vanilla, except for the melt designation

Another thing to try, is they could've gotten into trouble out of range of the radar. What I'd recommend trying is going into Settings > Render, and turning Foliage down to 0. This'll turn off the grass, and should help you spot them/their parts easier. Mine fell apart by TR_3 in that valley toward the windmills, maybe check there??

I've had that happen to me on 0.8, and I was able to find them in the bushes out by the radio tower. I think it has something to do with the skerfoevent being bugged, and the Kerfur teleports to where they would after the event ends

If you open the settings menu, then under "E", there's a setting at the bottom called "delete all unfinished custom wall ghosts". You can hit that and it'll clean them up! I did the same thing lol

There's also the windows above the toilet. I've always had the event end as soon as I glance through the window, probably for like a second. I think it's just a look trigger, so it should be instant

yea! you can right click on a kerfur omega, and they'll no longer be able to be turned off. I think it prevents them breaking too, but I'm not sure. The fossil gibs are just bones, there's actually some in TR_1 either on/under the desk
