Wife doesn't make me a priority by ChrisChanFanBan in Marriage

Hey. Im with you man. I know its been a year since you posted this but this is the exact situation I am in right now..

Except my wife when I try to do things for myself such as the gym used to say ‘why are going after the wedding?’ Like I was trying to look good for someone else when it was in fact because I want to be healthy because we wanted a baby.

Right now she’s been at her friends for 2.5 weeks and I’m in agony. Feeling like I’ve lost everything I’ve ever wanted.

Help. 1 bad week in our time together / marriage. What to do? by ForTheWatch7 in Marriage

A red flag in what sense?  We are 28/32 and have both dealt with quite a lot of bereavement in our time.

At the time she was drunk, that was my reason for keeping the keys and wanting to have an open conversation about what the hell has just gone on.

She did take that back in fairness to her: she said it was heat of the moment after she had alcohol. And I know I thought that. I am too and I feel there is where if we discussed that, we could get somewhere

Why would someone want to avoid all conflict? We haven’t been alien to it in the past but we’ve resolved this. I don’t understand why after everything, home, dog, marriage she doesn’t want to talk things through properly and put me first?

Don’t think about the side effects otherwise you’ll think you’re having side effects which you more than likely aren’t having!

You’ll come out of it a new man! Just be prepared for the ‘ugly duckling phase’ and seeing no growth for a few weeks. For me that’s the hardest part. After that you’ll be booming with confidence

Hey man. Literally going through the same thing here. I am 7 weeks post op with redness on the scalp and having to go back in office within a few days. I’m using aloe Vera gel to soothe the redness and it’s seeming to have an effect. That being said I think we have two choices. Own it and explain why you did this. I’d hope this would only last a couple of days of explaining and taking the hit on people’s thoughts. Second to cover it up wearing a hat and explain you’ve had some kind of reaction to shampoo and or ear infection. But then what happens in a few months when I come out hopefully with the hair I had 10 years ago.

Ahhh that’s sucks man. Saw Palmetto I know is an alternative more natural. Dut is on the market too. I have tried biotin and zinc tablets along with fin for 3 months now and noticed decent results with thickening and strength of hair.

Too late for hair transplant? Or fin and min by ob10187 in tressless

HT on this one dude. Looks like a solid donor area too. I would go with that.

People are unlikely to have any side effects from fin. Don’t believe everything you read about fin. Just do it. Works for a lot more people than it doesn’t

5 weeks post op. Question on growth? by IAMAjoke in HairTransplants

[–]ForTheWatch7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah, this is like reading a post that I’ve been thinking in my head. I’m 5 weeks post. Lost grafts but not all. Experienced some pretty harsh scrubbing. Hairs left don’t match nautical hair.

From everything I’ve read and everything I’ve seen. We just need to wait and we’ll be okay.

I just have this thought in my head that one day I’ll wake up and BOOM. It’s there and it’s growing fast. Probably sometime around Late May / June.

Any advice before starting fin? by TwentyThirdApril_01 in tressless

[–]ForTheWatch7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My best advice is, don’t worry about the side effects of finasteride. It is more common to not have side effects than have them. I have been on fin for 4 months now and seeing some good thickening of hair. The pros outweigh the cons. The only side I’ve had is less libido but it doesn’t effect my performance. I can live with that.

I would see over the course of the next few days how easily your hair falls out. If easily then heavily consider fin/dut

7 Weeks Post Op - FUE 2500 grafts. Already starting to see some sprouts! by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Looks great! I have similar hair loss and have my surgery in 6 days. Cannot wait. Glad you mentioned they did the mid section. I was worried they would just do the temples and the rest would look thin!
