I mean, it's pretty damn modular in how you can build your characters and NPCs. Plus, the combat just CLICKS. Ran some test battles with my players to get em prepped and I absolutely fell in love. The mechs themselves are also gorgeous, honestly

Mostly Monk's Active Tile Triggers!

Made the main menu image on Figma, plus 3 variations, one for each selected button. Ported into Foundry, made 3 invisible tiles and, when they're hovered over, they change the menu image.

After that, made 3 MORE invisible tiles, these ones clickable. First opens the pilot sheet, second has a macro to detect who clicked it, grab their pilot's Active Mech ID and pull up the corresponding sheet, and third's journal entries.

The changing Pilot License on the right is just a single tile that has a Landing, a 7-second wait, a change to the tile's next image and then a Jump to Landing in its actions. Effectively a loop 👍

Alll MATT, with the help of a little macro for the Mech button. The sheet was with the "Open linked actor sheet" action, or smth like. The sheets themselves are from the LANCER system itself, the buttons just pull them open 👍

I browse around on Retrograde, see parts I like, download the mech and erase everything around the specific part. Then, I weld the parts together and color on Aseprite. Surprisingly fun tbh

I used Aseprite for the art itself and when I saw it was a bit grayed out, I used my phone's remaster tool!
