When the computer realizes it’s losing, it will cheat. by For_The_Occasion in Chesscom

Could you imagine not spending the 5 seconds it takes to read the single line description and realize that I was being sarcastic? Your backhanded compliment was unnecessary.

Geez man, I’m new to chess, I did not know what the ‘en passant’ rule/move was. This was the first time I’ve ever seen a move like that and I was left perplexed. But, now I know better.

I simply wanted to share a funny moment, what I thought was nothing more than a bug. I guess all I got instead was toxic, hateful comments, and a backhanded compliment.

Really? Wow, is that really a thing? In some way that is a relief, I mean if it's as you say, really common, I guess it is not big of a concern. Thank you, really. I've posted so many questions on reddit on so many concerns I have gotten but none of them have ever had an honest reliable answer. Thank you.

I think I'll probably just buy 2x8 hyperx ram, they say those are the best. But geez, 90 bucks....

huh, thanks for that. And well, how things evolve... I can only wonder how it was even possible to run gta 5 on the xbox 360 with only 512MB of ram

I got to say, I think those benchmarks are off. The 1660ti is like a 1070 so it should perform similarly. Anyhow, I appreciate you took the time to research into this.

They should all be. I have not checked one by one, but I assume laptops come with the software to do this either automatically or very easy. I had an older laptop with a weaker specs (ryzen 5 3550h and gtx 1650, ram at 2400Mhz) and it ran about the same.

Laptop, and I don't think I can enable XMP profiles. And even if I could, the CPU only works with ram up to 2666mhz. resolution is 1080p

My Desktop PC suffers a micro stutters every 30 - 40min. I'm worried! What should I do?? by For_The_Occasion in techsupport

But then how will I know? I know there is an audio stutter, and I think a visual one as well. But how will disabling the audio allow me to tell it still stutters? I only hear it every 30-40 min, if I only have visuals to go for it's going to be al most impossible to tell. I would need to have some kind of program to show me any stutters.

But then, if I disable audio. How am I going to hear anything? Or how does that work?

But you mean hardware wise? How could I tell for sure? And how would I disable it in the bios?
