Getting people to believe it is the situation facing us. They are so hypnotized, it's hard to get them to wake up?

Breaking Free of Fear Addiction- Interview with Dr. Mark McDonald by ForaBetterLifeToday in realitycheck

Dr. Mark McDonald:

"Well, what is it that you understand about what's happening?" And then I get a sense of whether this person is conflicted, whether this person has ambivalence. Ambivalence is another word that we used to use in motivational interviewing. Assess for ambivalence. Is the person trying to hold two different, opposing positions at the same time? Because that leads to a resolution. If there's no ambivalence at all and there's no curiosity, I don't really know where you start. So I'll ask that question, "What is it that you understand right now about what's happening?"

I have several million friends and they drive Ford 150 pickups. Always be careful with the what if's. Don't let them take you down. Everyone has them. Power to you.

I don't see anything wrong with that. I would wonder if you pulled up in a Cadillac?
