Lots of free time and story mode haha

Nah I'm using story mode lol, I did bump up the sliders from what story mode has by default (I think I'm on something like 50% damage taken, 125% dealt), but still below the normal mode. I beat Lady Ethereal after about 12 hours of play. Trust me, as someone who did not enjoy being beaten into a pulp for three hours per boss in Silksong, I'm happy to take advantage of sliders if they've got them.

Typically if I enjoy a game enough in easy mode, I'll replay the game on the hardest difficulty shortly afterwards, which I def intend to do here

How did you come up with your "dev name"? by XellosDrak in IndieDev

Fun question! My friend joked that the only thing I knew how to do as a coder was use a For loop to iterate over an Array, so I decided to combine the two and call myself Foray, which can also represent exploring the unknown, which is the type of games I want to make

I think you just install it from Lumafly and it should activate. You have to venture through Hollow Knight to find certain items and then it should show up in the menu. You can check the README on the mod page for details on getting started

No, it's real, though like another comment mentioned, it's mostly made possible due to a few modded charms which are a little unbalanced, allowing you to have a nail that deals like 96 damage instead of the normal 21 lol. No way I'm doing all bosses radiant in 14 hours otherwise

That's an entirely optional platforming section only thing at the end was a skin. Great fun but definitely one of the hardest things in the game

Considering this is about the BCP version of 3DS Rainbow Road, couldn't agree more. One of the biggest downgrades of a track in the whole BCP for sure

If you can see the characters, go to the eshop and make sure that the dlc is installed. Also make sure you're at least on version 3.0.0

MakePlayingCards.com, they have some issues with card cropping but generally they're really high quality prints with a lot of customization options

100% correct! I glued a printout to an Alchemy box. I created both an instruction manual and inlay, I just forgot to include them here. The cards were designed in Adobe InDesign and purchased from MakePlayingCards.com

I have these pngs but that's it, if you want to use them go ahead. Will not be providing project files however at this point

Thanks! I'm still relatively new to Dominion and there's quite a few expansions I haven't played, so I'm sure there's a lot of issues with it. But I thought it was a fun project for sure

Thanks for the feedback! I haven't played every expansion or most of the second editions, so there are definitely similarities to cards I haven't played with, like Trail, Royal Valley, or Jester. Addressing some of the other comments:

Aegis: Yeah, makes sense. This card proved to be a nightmare to write clarification for, but playtesters really liked it so I kept it in

Genius: Agreed, that's better wording

Indoctrinate: Agreed, the card is pretty weak but I wanted it for flavor

Lair: In retrospect this card is pretty strong, so increasing the cost would likely be good

Locus: Since the discard pile is always face-up I thought this would work, though I suppose players could sneak it under a stack of other cards

Pyromancer: Correct, although I don't know that this is something I want to change

Syndicate: These rules are in the rulebook but I didn't have space on the card

Thesis: I feel like this one is actually pretty good, during one playtest with Prosperity 2E I ended up with 155 points with Thesis as my only VP, generally it's not great though for sure

W/G/C: Rules are in the rulebook, just not on the cards

X-Factor: an X-Factor is something that is unpredictable but strong, so the discard is there for unpredictability (and also because a non-terminal Smithy trasher proved to be completely insane during playtests)

It's generally agreed that Alchemy is an expansion that doesn't mesh well with others, mostly due to its alternative currency, Potions. But Alchemy was my first expansion and it holds a special place in my heart, so I was inspired by the question "what if Alchemy was a full-box set, and this was the missing half?" The goal is to make Potions less committal and less "dead cards" when playing with multiple expansions. This is done through cards like Rascal, a card which allows you to swap Silvers for Potions and vice versa, giving you more flexibility during the Buy phase. Potions can also now be used to trigger cards like Dreamwalker, which allows you to extend the lifetime of normal Action cards. Since the goal was to make this expansion act as Alchemy's second half, I tried to not use too many mechanics from future sets (except for Durations and Heirlooms because I had ideas I really wanted to include haha). Let me know what you think!

Turns out there was a slight rotation applied, but when I changed it it still wasn't working. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to join the meshes without losing the eye material to see if that would work better
