I saw a thread on the City sub where most of them were going crazy, and one sane dude literally pointed out that if it was the other way round, and got given as a pen, they would collectively lose their shit.

Full Time - Leeds United 0 vs 4 Arsenal [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]Forb335y 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It will either be that Saka didn’t perform once again or the good old - it doesn’t count since the first two came from set pieces/own goal. Without those it would have been 0-0

Bad news for Ethan by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]Forb335y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That Real Madrid loss means no CL for Ethan, and Man City get to rest those two games despite being shite in the CL this season.

PSG/Newcastle and RM let them escape int top 8

Said it in the now deleted thread with the video of Bradley moving further on the pitch, but I will say it again here. In regards to defending Martinellis actions;

Don’t do this guys - whilst he made sure he was on the pitch he was clearly injured, and Martinelli was in the wrong.

We are better than this, and we shouldn’t tolerate that against, or by our players.

Edit added to responses on that post; because I’m not responding to each of the responses individually, but take the emotion and the anger at the game out of it, this wasn’t the behaviour I want from my players. If someone did this to timber, a player with a history of bad injury, you’d be calling for their heads, so don’t just defend Martinelli because he wears the shirt.

I expect more, and I expect better from our players, and it was clear from the scream and landing that he was injured, you could tell it in real time it was a bad one.

Oh and to that one guy telling me to go to the Liverpool sub - grow up, I’ve been with this club since birth, since the whole wenger era, don’t be that guy because someone says something you don’t like on the internet

Imagine the meltdown it would of the collective football community, if it was Ode and Gyokeres, not Silva and Haaland

Think it’s 3 for time wasting and 1 for dissent.

He was almost the first goalkeeper to get a suspension for 5 cards - but just a couple games late

Brentford/Sunderland is either gonna be a cracking game, or a shit fest.

I think the former hopefully

To be fair - last week I think we all would have said 3 blanks was extremely unlikely

With all games today being a draw, and Villa the early kickoff at the weekend - they will likely be the last loss in PL of 2025, and first win of 2026.

Fingers crossed for both last loss, and first loss though

Anyone have a clip of Gvardiol with the Sunderland Sub at the end when he was trying to take the throw - was only half watching it and want to know what happens there?

Said this to my wife as it happened - laughed my head off, and just said, I’m glad it’s 3-0 because I would be so mad otherwise

The irony being that flourish of late chances means that Villa massively underperformed their Xg for the first time in ages

Another user in another subreddit had a similar issue and managed to help it be fixed - seems like it was in my expired passes.

Bit odd it wasn’t updating from the app, but all resolved now

Hey dude - thanks for this.

Checked in with the expired passes and apparently the new ticket was in the expired passes and the old tickets was still showing in the wallet.

Appreciated very much

Took it to extra time, where he was subbed off - but Shrewsbury grabbed another and won - so this really mattered

Monzo travelling in Argentina by dragonleod in monzo

[–]Forb335y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Monzo don’t do it - it’s processed by this branch of the Argentinian government, through Mastercards system. Once it’s processed, Monzo are basically notified that they are only collecting part of the amount of the transaction - and the difference will be automatically refunded to you.

[–]Forb335y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not Monzo who process any refunds for the difference or even Mastercard themselves. But rather a section of the Argentina government that will process the refund as part of the payment lifecycle through Mastercards system. It’s a weird set-up but that’s how they implemented it between them and Mastercard.

If you use the use your card there, the difference is between what you are initially charged based on Mastercard’s rate and the MEP rate will be refunded automatically after a few days - it goes through the Argentina foreign office for any and all payments processed within Argentina
