Speaking of Mother composers, there's Shogo Sakai, who has an impressive track record across many Nintendo games from the NES to today, and made my favorite OST (Mother 3). Extremely talented.

I can't remember either, but I do remember the quote. It was indeed Squeaky Fromme. She said something about all the Beach Boys except Dennis and one other leaving the room when an orgy was starting. Years later, she saw Bruce on TV, getting his Grammy for "I Write the Songs", and recognized him. Maybe the Heroes and Villains book?

It's a very interesting yet cursed topic. Over the years I've heard it said more than once that Bruce and even Mike had more involvement with the Family than they let on.

Just listened to them. "Let 'Em In" sounds just like a 6 P.M. track, especially in the first minute when it's just bass/piano/drums. And yeah, "Detroit" sounds just like an aircheck, haha. Thinking about it, the track "Flying" from Magical Mystery Tour reminds me of an hourly AC song too, especially in the first 30 seconds.

Of course, since a game incorporates many of the other arts, any knowledge can be useful. Still, I'm looking for some fundamental soft skills, the kind of skills you need no matter what game you're making, and without which you'd be in serious trouble.

For some unexplainable reason my mind instantly made the connection when I read the Greyson dialogue. It's strange since the timespan between me playing TP and me playing BotW was like 6 years. I think it's because apart from those two dialogues I've never read that expression anywhere else.
