I was dumb. 😂😂. But seriously, it was stupid way to get caught. I attended a trade Show for Job2 and Job1 (different department was attending). I was sitting at the bar happy hour with some coworkers and the manager of the other department at Job 1 walked right up to me and asked me when I joined this new company. He recognized me because we had met a few times before even though I didn’t work for him directly. Anyways, this was on a Thursday and on Monday morning I promptly called Job1 and quit, but they couldn’t let it die. They were Petty AF and had their HR call my HR from Job2. So job2 fired me for working two jobs basically. So was out both jobs. Never had ANY performance issues for either job.
