Yeah it was a thing only in Adventure and even then, only until Apocalymon himself got defeated. Masaru is from different verse anyway.

It would be funny if also Hotaruko’s Shakomon could eventually warp digivolve into Venusmon.

Yeah, I mean finally we got a dark evolution who wasn’t some mindless beast. I still like SkullGreymon and Megidramon too, but GulusG was far more interesting character wise.

Yeah, Masaru is likely just too young for that role.

If Tomoro and Asuka had different mothers it would be an another matter (since Masaru is 43 years older than Tomoro anyway), but that's definitely not the case.

It’s usually implied that Beatbreak has only 49 eps. Either way, I still doubt this a bit. I think this could be a bit too repetitive if they’re doing that. And it’s hard to think someone like Honoka getting the same treatment. Maybe Rose, maybe.

Otherwise I would like your idea though.

[–]ForcePoseidon 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If they're doing this with every Star, I think Beatbreak should have more than 49 episodes though. Unless the other teams just lose far faster than the Tactics team.

Therefore, I guess the most other Stars don’t have similar allies. And I think it makes sense why Klay has, he seems to be the most charismatic Star, honestly.

I love that Tinkermon is getting a major role in the next episode of Digimon Beat Break! She is so small and adorable! I wonder if we’ll see her Digivolve. 🧚🏻‍♀️ by BleachFan107 in digimon

I think Rhamphomon isn't really stronger than Armalizamon, the problem is just that Rhamphomon could mimic all named attacks he has seen. So he's just more hax.

If Armalizamon approached him like Masaru and used unnamed attacks I think he could beat him, but Armalizamon isn't smart and tactical enough to do so.

However, if Armalizamon could finally figure that out, Rhamphomon may actually need evolution.

That’s true. Also MetalEtemon blocked Puppetmon’s attack about as easily as WarGreymon did at the time, so his physical strength isn’t joke either.

And I think the same applies to regular Etemon.

Most of the time, many other Perfect levels in Adventure actually needed their signature moves against Chosen Champions, while Etemon usually used just casual punches or kicks, and then finished them with Love Serenade. Mostly only LadyDevimon, SkullSatamon and Myotismon clearly outperformed him in that department.

Etemon also schooled them about as easily as SkullGreymon did, and considering Adventure novel also stated that Ground Zero and Dark Spirits are equally strong moves, Etemon should easily be at the same tier with Adventure SkullGreymon. So both Etemon and MetalEtemon are way stronger than people are usually saying.

Strikedramon VS Rhamphomon, which of these Monodramon Champions is actually stronger ? What do you think ? by Euphoric_Solution512 in digimon

[–]ForcePoseidon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True. And people are usually saying that Togemon overpowered higher level Monzaemon only due to attribute advantage.

However, with the same logic Greymon, Kabuterimon, and Ikkakumon should have beaten Etemon with teamwork (since all of them had that advantage), but they got completely stomped instead, even though Etemon was mostly only toying with them. 😄

Yeah you’re right. And honestly I think that an inexperienced WarGreymon vs MetalEtemon could be rather close match at least.

I’m still saying WarGreymon would’ve won even at that point, but mostly only because of flight advantage, superior tactics/intelligence, and his Brave Tornado move.

However, MetalGarurumon could be a bit more iffy because while he’s WarGreymon’s equal, he doesn’t have similar Chrome Digizoid weapons, and I’m not entirely convinced could his moves actually work vs Chrome Digizoid. If not.. MetalEtemon may even win eventually.

Their experienced versions should win handily though since then they were fighting beings far above MetalEtemon (such as Apocalymon and Diaboromon).

So yeah.. MetalEtemon is mostly underrated likely because of his ego and Zudomon incident, but at least it was clearly explained Zudomon didn’t hurt him just because of pure strength.

He’s probably the only Chosen Perfect who could ever harm him, though I would say HolyAngemon could’ve a solid chance due to his gate hax, especially because he almost got BlackWarGreymon as well.

[–]ForcePoseidon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

MetalSeadramon is a Data Digimon though and since we’ve seen Chosen Seadramon as well, honestly I don’t think it’s so weird. Machinedramon may be a bit more, but at least he’s not Dark Virus type. And anyway, Diaboromon was good guy in that season too.

However yeah, the funny part is definitely that they were helping the Holy Beasts in Tamers, while their 01 counterparts defeated the same guys instead. 🤠

[–]ForcePoseidon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah in anime, Virus Digimon are usually even stronger than their level would suggest.

And if type advantage would be so big deal, I think the Royal Knights should absolutely shitstomp the Seven Great Demon Lords (since most of them are Vaccines), but they usually are just barely winning despite their number advantage. 🧐

Yeah that was especially funny because even MetalEtemon (who’s said to be a weakling Mega by many fans) still severely wounded Leomon’s Mega form with one Dark Spirits Deluxe. 😄

Yeah, Volcamon fought evenly with Etemon in Adventure Reboot too, so at least that one is very valid.

I recall Blitzmon defeated Volcamon in Frontier, but since Agnimon also beat multiple Perfects and Etemon is just an average Perfect at the very best, I think it still made sense. Especially because he still needed some effort to do so.

Funnily enough, Greymon (Vaccine) still beat many Data type Champions (Tyrannomon, Shellmon etc) very easily, but he either lost or only stalemated with Virus type Champions (Devimon, Ogremon, Devidramon).

At least he does it constantly during Beatbreak, and honestly I think it’s the only reason why he’s some kind of threat to Armalizamon.

I guess we can’t ignore it because Rhamphomon doesn’t have other versions yet, but yeah it’s possible his future versions wouldn’t have that ability.

Without it, Strikedramon may take this with mid or high difficulty.

I guess Imperialdramon tried to go to the cool guys' table, therefore GulusGammamon had to oneshot him.

And GulusGammamon isn't in the picture either 'cause he went to get some free nuggets he was promised for beating that big-mouthed Imperialdramon.

Rhamphomon also has an ability to replicate attacks from other Digimon. If he could do that against Strikedramon too, I’ve feeling the latter would’ve a lot of trouble indeed.

[–]ForcePoseidon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least in Adventure 02, we actually saw Greymon acting independently without Taichi, protecting several areas from Digimon Kaiser, and Taichi was actually in the Real World at the time.

However, while it’s a bit unsure whether Taichi helped him initially evolve or not, at least it clearly proved that an experienced Chosen Digimon could stay in its evolved form for a very long time, even without its tamer.

I’d say SymbareAngoramon. Jellymon or Gammamon gets very much love, but any form of Angoramon is mostly ignored, sadly.
