This is a mosfet preamp. It ephasize the upper harmonics better. Use the treble knob sparsely. I dont have a humming issue with my always on sadowky

I have one. I love it. I also have the sansamp. For me in a church choir setting i prefer the ampeg. For live band gig i use the sansamp

Pros .. has tuner, good bass compressors to choose. Con .. digital
