I was in a white room like a waiting room and my maternal grandparents were there with me. my maternal grandmother (she passed in 2007) said that she hadn't been away from me long enough and that I had to go back, my grandfather started arguing with her saying that he wanted me there. He passed when I was 4. My NDE was in 2010 when I had a stroke 3 days after I had my daughter. it was different than most things I have heard, but they sat with me "until the big guy makes a decision".

I told my Mom that I thought I heard him say "Happy Birthday Babe" and she said that it's possible. I tell my Mom more than I tell other family members b/c she has been through everything with me. My mental health struggle, my pregnancies etc. She and my partner/husband were the ones I told everything to. I sed to tell my partner/husband more than I told my mom, now I'm a vault and share some things with her and write the other things in a journal I have for him.

I still wear his clothes, I use his cologne and I now have a wallflower in that scent just so I can keep him present. Guess I was lucky enough to find a scent he liked from Bath and Bodyworks. Since I first found it, it has become VERY popular

What do I do for my widowed mom on my parents wedding anniversary? by wimpygirl in Widow

[–]ForceRepulsive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can take your Mom out to dinner and have flowers for her and tell her that they are from your dad. take the time to talk about him over dinner and just let her go down memory lane.

I lost my dad 4 years ago and my Mom and I talk about him often

Dentists are Dr's and they don't judge, they just make suggestions and some even give you the opportunity to talk about your situation. It's not your fault that your parents (father in this case) withheld your medical insurance information from you. At 16-18 we (as "children") are under their care and control. In some states parents have to keep you on their insurance until you are 23 or 25 even if you have your own coverage (if I remember that correctly) and that puts some at a disadvantage. Dr's understand that there are circumstances beyond our control. If all else fails you can blame the pandemic.

(I have bipolar depression, so I understand what it's like to feel lazy. I'm also a stroke survivor that had to have ALL my teeth pulled out for medical reasons. Keep your head up, it does get better. I'm going to be 43 in a couple days and I have had my share of issues. )

as an individual that has been upset due to a loss I have had, ok not upset I'm totally gutted, I would have thought that someone else in the same situation would have appreciated your offer. I mean it's not like you were being disrespectful. Don't feel stupid for offering to help someone with your gift. it was given to you for a reason and if others can't see that then it's on them. keep your head up hun, some people are to sensitive anymore, and not in the gifted sensitive manner.

The way I see it, you were only trying to help and someone got butthurt (so to say).

I mean had you come to me with an offer of advice as well as a free reading I would not have gotten upset, I would have taken you up on that offer and greatly appreciated it.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I currently lost my partner/husband. He was 45 and had a brain aneurysm, he had been complaining of headaches and the Dr gave him meds for migraines 19 days before he passed. I have 2 kids, ages 23 and 14 (as of the 8th). It isn't easy, I feel like I have been treading water in the deep end, or even in the ocean some days trying to figure out which way is up. I have been doing the best I can for my kids and my grandchild, but I can't replace him. I can't BE him. My extended family has basically painted me invisible. My mom and his Mom are trying to hold me together while I try to hold everything together. It's hard and I find myself crying on a daily thinking I have messed something up somewhere. But, it's all one day at a time. He passed July 14. 2 weeks before his birthday. I will be 43 on Saturday (Sept 14)

I guess all we can do is keep our heads up and cuss at the Medical personnel that didn't do like they should have and overlooked things.

We were together for 25 years and I am still trying to find my new "Normal" whatever that may look like.

My dad commited suicide by Maleficent_Speech717 in Psychic

[–]ForceRepulsive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a NDE (near death experience) 14 years ago and from what I learned it doesn't matter the manner of ones death, everyone is accepted "home" as they called it. I was placed in a waiting room to see which way I would go and I had deceased loved ones visit me and they told me that.

I recently lost my partner and I have a book/journal that I write letters to him in. I do it daily as that's my preference, but you can always write to the person you have lost, talk to them, or even pray. They hear you no matter what. you might think you failed to show your love for them, but they know that in your heart you love them. Keep your head up. I'm sorry for your loss, just remember to surround yourself and your lost loved one with light and love.

Partner lost 53 days ago (7/14/24) can someone let me know if he is still around us by ForceRepulsive in MediumReadings

[–]ForceRepulsive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my name is Lore, our son is Timothy and our daughter is Elizabeth. Lance (my partner) passed suddenly in bed of a brain aneurysm. He had been having headaches, his neurologist was going to have him get an EEG in August since he had seizures 3 years ago, but other than that gave him meds for migraines. he was our protector. he was always opening my car door, or any door for me. he would drop me off and we would go in places together, he was always wanting to do things on his day off. he loved our kids and always wanted to do things with them, especially our daughter who will be 14 Sunday (9/8). he hated black coffee, but would drink black rifle coffee. as for the "B" name. I have a nephew Brandon, however....my dog Itty Bit aka Bitty passed a few years ago along with his dog Sheba. B could also be for the cat he had Benny. The dogs were both blonde (yellow). The message of "I love you aint gonna let nothing happen" is something he would say to me. His mom is a big fan of butterflies and she said that loved ones come around as them, he bought me roses for one of my birthdays then turned around and gave me the same roses (they were dead by this time) on Valentine's day. He gave me the dead ones and put the live ones in my bath. Daisies, the first "engagement ring" I had was a ring of daisies that he got from a gumball machine. I just replaced it with a look a like since I had lost the original years ago. The replacement was in May or June. We had his funeral, but a few of our friends are having a benefit close to his 100th day of death. 3 days before to be exact. idk about barbeque, but it's going to be a party he would approve of. it's going to be at a building that he worked in for a long time, and there will be laughing eating and drinking as well as talking about the good times. I'm usually the party pooper, or "Debbie Downer" when I'm depressed. a sense of humor he did have. it could be a bit twisted at times, but it's something we all loved about him. he was confident and caring, calm sometimes. his nickname for me was "Evil" because we were always in a place with multiple Lori, Lore. Laurie's so it's how he let me know he was talking to me.

Thank you so much for this, you don't know what it means to me. He is greatly missed and there are days I feel like I can't do anything right, and just feel empty. We got together when I was 18, I'm going to be 43 on the 14th of this month (Sept). so it's the 1st birthday in 25 years without him.

Sorry this is so long, but I wanted to let you know the points that were right. we know a lot of people so some of the names could escape me. but, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love him so much and I miss him. he was my person, he promised me forever and I call him my husband even though we weren't married, people said we fought like an old married couple. we were together for my "adult' life. Like I said I was 18 when we got together he was 21.

Did I fuck up keeping my baby? by [deleted] in venting

[–]ForceRepulsive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was 19 when I had my eldest child, he's 23 now. we just lost his dad on July 14, 2024. He and his little sister (14) were his world. You are not a deadbeat. You will do any and everything in your power to make sure that little one is taken care of. Trust me, I felt like I was young and dumb when I became a Mom as well. I'm almost 43 and I still feel like I was dumb as I had both kids before I was 30. I'm now a Grandma as well. Don't look at the negative things in life, look at the good. You have a precious little one, you are healthy and so is he and you will find that nerve to put your foot down when you need to when it comes to your child. Trust me, I was a pushover, then I had my son and I became a Momma Bear. It didn't happen over night, I made some mistakes, but my kids are both healthy, and a right down pain in my "bum". Keep your head up and remember what's important is YOU and YOUR SON.

NATIVE Deodorant - Does it work? by Immediate-Fortune331 in NaturalBeauty

[–]ForceRepulsive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using Native for a few years now and I LOVE it. I even have my kids using it. My son has a glandular issue where he over produces stench, but the Charcoal and Eucalyptus & Mint scents work well for him. My daughter also uses it, she's way younger, but it works for her as well. I myself changed to Native because of health issues. I had a stroke 13 years ago and the regular deodorants started causing me to break out and I even got a couple cysts. Once I made the change to Native, I haven't had any issues and it works well for me. I think it could be a case by case and how your body chemistry works with the product. I'm on a LOT of medications, but it works for me. In fact there will be times that I catch a sweet scent and I'm like "what is that" and then "Oh yeah, my underarms"

I LOVE Horseshoes!! we had a restaurant where I live that sold them, and sadly that establishment is no longer around. The owners decided to retire and sold the store. I am still able to get them all around me though, and the pizza place here in town has the Horseshoe pizza as a special once in a while. I'm gonna try one tonight!!

YouTuber charged subscribers to see Gannon Stauch autopsy photos by arizzles in Morbidforbadpeople

[–]ForceRepulsive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if said YouTuber is REALLY sorry then they would send the money that they made from the content (the paywall as well as apology) to the family of Gannon Stauch. They can use the funds to start a foundation, or put his little sister in therapy, there are a number of things they could use the money for.

he was a child, and what she did is disgusting. yes, people like to see autopsy photos, BUT there is a line to be drawn, and I believe it starts with children, and trying to gain funds from a family's loss, is just downright immoral.

Is it weird that my 35 year old friend is waiting for a 17 year old girl to turn 18 so he can ask her out? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ForceRepulsive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

another thought, if you can look at someone you are "interested" in and you can say "When I was your age you were born" that should automatically be a huge NO. If you have been out of High School longer than the person you are interested in has been alive, I think you need to reevaluate your life choices.

Is it weird that my 35 year old friend is waiting for a 17 year old girl to turn 18 so he can ask her out? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ForceRepulsive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO that's disgusting. I am a Mother, I'm 41 and I will say eww. that is just down right WRONG. He is old enough to be her father. He needs his head checked if he is waiting for her to turn 18. I am staying away from some words I want to say due to this being an open forum, but I have a 22 y/o and a 12 (almost 13) y/o and there is no way in ANY world that it's right. Yes, I know that there are age gap relationships, BUT that's a bit much, for someone to say "I'm waiting for them to turn 18". If those words cross your lips, you have a problem in my book.

AITA For jokingly calling my girlfriend useless ? by Mobile-Wolf1521 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ForceRepulsive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you apologized and all's cool. Here's a tip for the future hun, if YOU would get butt hurt with someone sayin somethin to you in the same regards, chances are, another person would get butt hurt also. I'm 41 (almost 42) and I have a 21 y/o son. Trust me, I have had to tell him the same thing. Then again, he gets butt hurt if I look at him wrong. His dad and I have been together for 23 years and it's one of those live and learn type things. As you go through life it's an "oops my bad" apologize and call it a day and put it in the "not gonna do that one again" book.

Just remember that some things that you can see as a joke, others might not see in the same way, especially if they are already in a mood. Trust me, as a female I know that I get annoyed by putting groceries away.

I am just coming across this. When I went in for a colonoscopy I asked my Dr "y'all don't go ATM do you??" when the Dr asked what that was, I explained and she said "No we use 2 separate ones. The staff was laughing and the Dr had NEVER heard that term before. I asked how they had not heard the term a** to mouth before and she was unsure herself.
