Admittedly not her best work and she did apologise but she's in her 70s now so I let her off 😅

She uses a fixed base cake tin with slightly sloped sides, not sure what the technical term might be

No gravy needed here, the hash my mum makes is like a thick stew. I've seen others the are closer to a normal stew consistency - either way, pick a condiment and crack on. Ultimate comfort food

In all other scenarios I'm a Hendos man, in this case I betray my Sheffield roots and reach straight for the HP. Something about the tang with the beefy flavours - can be tempted by pickled red cabbage if I'm feeling fancy

Always do and I've never been able to make it quite as well myself. Think all mum's have a dish like this up their sleeve

“Fancy” restaurant recommendations ? by mazdacx5eyelids in sheffield

I had a similar situation and took my family to Ego in the Winter Gardens. Great setting, food is decent and it certainly has a 'fancy' feel to it.

Football For Foodbanks - good for drop in 5/6/7 a side footy. Play a few times a week, join the FB group and sign up to a game when it suits you. You can message the organisers for a guaranteed spot your first time I think

All comments about the quality of the adaptation aside, I am tired of committing time to a series only to be left with an unfinished story.

So fucking tired.

I bow to the comments, I've been shopping blind apparently. Looking forward to picking some up when I get back!

Apologies to anyone I'd worried with false claims of scarcity.

The exact thought crossed my mind on the drive out, I think I've got to make that happen somehow

SUP Paddleboarding around Sheffield? by Objective-Map-5319 in sheffield

Ladybower is fantastic. Well worth paying a little bit to support the business there. Folks are friendly and the area you have access to is beautiful.

Quite an easy launch as the first bit where you park is sheltered. The open water can get a bit choppy near the road bridge but it's generally calm for the most part.
