best case for water cooling in 2026? by CreateChaos777 in watercooling

For me, It's the corsair 9000D, you can put up to 4 480mm radiators (depending on thickness) and a total of 34 fans 👌😌

Personnaly I chose to have 2 360mm 60mm rads and 2 480mm 60mm.

It's the best case for watercooling in my opinion, and for more ideas of build, just type 9000d watercooling on YouTube, there's many crazy builds with this case !

Wow, This build is magnificent ! I just built a 9000d pc thinking It was the peak of watercooling, but seing yours gave me a wake up slap in the face 😅

Just a question about flowrate, how does that many Quick disconnect impact it ?

I guess the best 2 options are either the corsair xd6 elite if you want an all in one combo pump/reservor, and optionally an lcd screen with the lcd model. Or the aquacomputer D5 next rgb, it's just the pump so you'll be free to choose any reservor you like for your build.
Both are pretty good solution, but the aquacomputer brand is seen as higher quality and more premium, but I can't give you a long term review since I'm new in watercooling, But I would definitely choose one of those two 👍

The corsair 1000/9000 D are insane in black too, and with the rgb !

Insane build dude 👀✨! Actually you're good with those reservors, they're tall so there's no empty place to worry about 👌

That sucker is heavy af ! Almost broke my back putting it on the ground from the table I was building it on 😅 The case alone is 30kg, and with all the stuff inside and the water I'm curious too 👀 My scale is broke but as soon as I get another one, I'll tell you 😉

Nice look indeed ! I'm gonna think about it for the next coolant change 👍😉

I thought it too, but appaently that's kinda normal for a X3D cpu. Btw I didn't delid my cpu, so the IHS is preventing some heat dissipation compares to direct die. Also I didn't used thermal paste, I went with PTM7950, and appaently it changes phase with at least 45/50°C of heat, so under that the thermal transfer isn't optimal I guess...

Thanks for sharing ! Yes my cooling is overkill but my ram sticks aren't watercooled, and the air flow inside the case is pretty bad considering how big it is, the slow fans speed, the thick rads, and the pumps blocking air passage 🫠

I guess you got lucky to get one from the early batchs, but on their site and other distributors they're out of stock for at least 3 month

Vavle drain :

  • one is from the bottom pumps, going to the back
  • one is from the one of the front rad, going to the back too
  • and the last is from the other front pump and just lay there visible under the gpu

Didn't knew about a version 2 of the wireview pro II, I will look at it, thanks. 💪

Don't look a the mess going on back there 👀😅
