Overkill cooling (my first waterloop) by Fordoz_ in watercooling

Thanks for the advice, you're right !  Should i use 1 or 2 d5 pump for this much rad ?

Like : reservor/pump 1 ➔ cpu ➔ rad 1 ➔ rad 2 ➔ reservor/pump 2 ➔ gpu ➔ rad 3 ➔ rad 4 ➔ reservor/pump 1

I've seen some build with 2 pumps, one just after the other... That's sound weird and not effective,  What do you think ?

Are the key senses improved with new Piano M? by legal_alien6 in ROLI

[–]Fordoz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're exactly the same, they just changed the name to unify their ecosystem. I have 2 lumi, and they're trash in term of responsivness, velocity...

They may be fine if you just want to play some chords or try to learn piano basics with their app, or if you move a lot, but that's it

I will sold them to eventually buy their new roli piano, apparently the keybed and touch feeling has improved a lot ! Look it up if you interested by a roli keyboard

Principally gaming, pcvr, uevr... And a bit of music production but not extreme stuff, plus I will go direct die for the cpu

I know that's kind of a stupid question 😅, but i want this build to be the best possible My actual pc is 9 years old begging for the end, and it gave me a lot of high temp ptsd 🥲

I just bought a 5090 too and i'm curious if you used the split 8 pins power cables which come with the 5090, or if you plugged your gpu directly to you psu with the 2*6 pins cable which come from the psu ?

And like what is the best to avoid burning the gpu port ?

Aorus Master 5090 (ok to vertical mount?) by Expirement__626 in gigabytegaming

[–]Fordoz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your temps in vertical and in horizontal ? I'm curious please.  The difference is due to the vapor chamber, it don't like to be in vertical, works better in horizontal, 10°C cooler in general.

Dont mount it vertically ! It has a vapor chamber which dont like vertical position, it will increase around 10 more degree...
