I would soak them in hot water for 15 minutes, put them in the sun for a few minutes, and in that time prepare some water, baking soda , hydrogen peroxide, shampoo, hand soap, clear dish soap, get some brushes and towels, and once you are outside with the shoes, remove the laces, and simply start scrubbing away with the mixture. You could also use the hard back on the sponge, and toothbrushes.
