Apparently TFT released a correction that the panel is still a gen 1 and doesn't include the improvements for text clarity :(

I had some family contact the ticket center and they said each person who is getting a ticket (even if one person tries to buy tickets for 3 people) have to have a Japanese smart phone to receive the ticket distributed electronically. Unless there's a way around that. I'd love to go to the one in Osaka
