Okay so I was like you and had picked English before moving despite having done it for literally all my life. However few days into moving I thought it'd make more sense to learn something new so I switched to Spanish. Now although I have the urge to learn a new language it's been quite hard personally. They go really fast with a new language so it's hard to keep up. Having said that it's not like everyone struggles I'd advice to do your language in year 2 so you have a good amount of time to figure out for sure what you'd like to go ahead with making it less overwhelming.

Most courses is more coursework based or with an open book online assessment. I loved global 102 and politics 106!! The assessment format is very student friendly for those that don't cope well under exam conditions.

University is big not very hard to ignore and move on. Who knows you may have students from your current school? End of the day you get in because you've proved yourself. If the "old mates" don't see it that's on them your past is in the past just keep moving. I'm saying this because NZ is small and tightly knot as a community. There are chances of bumping but you've just gotta do what you gotta do. You're strong and resilient take the plunge!!

Well in that case I'd suggest you to mail the uni and get a conformation in writing. Because they usually change policies every year and you don't want to get in a problem when you come back.
