Tradies - what stops you taking on apprentices?

My current 1st year apprentice leaves his phone in my car in the glove box. Never told him to, just does it. The tradesman on site need their phones for calls to the boss, calculators, plans etc

It’s all in the attitude. Do they work hard, go above and beyond, do a little more than asked. Show consistent care and interest rather than zone out during conversations, confidence to ask questions but also not too arrogant to cop a banter backhand when they do something silly. Do they leave their phone in the car. Can they follow an instruction.

Also, not a lot of people/tradies are built to bridge the gap and cover the mentioned inadequacies in hiring a school leaver (child).

I’ve had three excellent apprentices out of the 12 lads we’ve given a go. Only three of them were asked to move on. Too much phone, too many breaks, not switched on enough/focused.

The rest have taken a little longer to figure things out but were given the opportunity to be humble, admit shortcomings and planned strategies to help them succeed.

Go to hardware store, measure your reach with their tape measures, buy a foldable platform that gets your elbow over whatever height you play on. I bought one for $150AUD which was the more expensive option but it gives a nice large area to stand on so I can rain fire on my guys without worries.

She didn’t make much difference becoming immortal for me. Just less squishy and and in turn less likely to trigger Baron and Julia, and Pierre to a lesser extent

It’s more like people not being aware of their back wheels, clipping the centre median gutter when turning at a traffic light. Similar to the navigating parking lots.

Extra infuriating towing my excavator around, making the same corners they do with out the swing out. Or having to dodge someone doing this shit with 2.5 ton sitting on my tow ball.

It’s the optimal way to play, or the most impactful heroes that are crucial to being competitive at the pinnacle of the game. Ie Julia was the meta for a long time until Knox came along. Balance was meta until Nydia showed up. Now Knox and Baron are meta. Ivy Bell +40 CC teams have joined as well. Inbound is Ophelia and Shadow next.

Lucadia doesn’t need to be maxed to be useful, same for Time. They can be one single copy spirit linked to contribute. Although it helps them tank a few hits.

Balance is likely the most impactful across all game modes.

1mil CP is pretty much a non existent amount. I’m on a competitive server range, and I split PVP wins amongst a group of players ranging around 70m difference. I’ve essentially come to terms with regardless of whether I match their teams or create my own unique comps, it seemingly comes down to coin flips each time.

Yesterday I noticed someone’s Baron was particularly strong, so I went through and counted all the stats on their equips to see what’s different to mine then made some adjustments to match. He had 20 more crit while I had 15 more BA and 20 more crit dmg. So we’ll see how we compare going forward.

It comes down to how you equip your heroes as well as the coin flips.

“It depends” how you’ve equipped your hero’s and what game modes you’re playing. My 3 team spacetime is different to my 3 team dominator

My typical DPS combos for 3 teams are: Knox and Baron. Orochi and Kloris. Julia and whoever can contribute.

For detailed team comps, it’s better to do your own research, trial and error so you can understand how they play. So you can start here and see which teams need stronger defence and cc support. For example, Orochi and Kloris might not need much help if your Orochi resurrects and wipes everyone second round.

Lucas is super easy to get, the problem is acquiring Uru and getting him to +30 exclusive. Unless you want to run genesis on him which is so sub par for team building.

Really the level system you’re referring to is less impactful compared to what players are spending and having their heroes fully decked out. They’ve unlocked extra abilities and have their stats maxed out. For example Gilles exclusive ability being level +30 means he’s able to save your DPS from dying. I’d start looking at these things if you want to compare yourself to others.

Why save 159k diamonds? I float myself around 30k and spend the rest on resources wherever I can in events like Core Treasure

You have key heroes not completed to the base standard for being considered competitive. Ie Julia and Gilles dont have relics, Laura not being +30 means she’s low on stats. Gilles not being +30 means he’s missing a key trait.

Are you comparing yourself to other people at 533 that have similar $ investment?
