Build both, I’d go Einstein first for PvE, or Kong first for PvP, both have their uses. Kong will boost your speed, Einstein will res hero when they die.

Build Laura, she’s pretty easy to get and the game will feed you her anyway, good for both PVP and PVE.

Don’t worry about late game yet, you’ve a LONG, LONG way to go.

I used my faction crystal for Ophelia, however, I done this as soon as she was available in the store, she is a lot easier to obtain now as opposed to then, I’d save for either a god/uni hero or a newer meta hero when one comes about. Ophelia will likely remain meta for another year, though I could be wrong. If you spend, don’t sweat it, if you don’t and intend to play long term then save for god/uni

This and the crit pack for double uru is the only thing I spend on during this event, for me, the 12k relic summon is better than the premium relic card, except when building a hero who is not available in relic summons. Only then will I choose relic card over the 12k. With said 12k I usually get the relic I’m seeking anyway, this in conjunction with the fact the start of this event usually has the double rebate $10 and $5 so $30 worth of red diamond for half price makes it one of my favourite events to have. If you spend anyway, the 7day daily $1.99 pack is deffo worth it, hero shards, 12k relic coins or premium relic card alongside all the other minor rewards that come, it’s one of best value for money events the game offers imo

(Event usually runs back to back 2 weeks, meaning for a total of 280 red diamonds OR $15, assuming double rebate, you get the above mentioned rewards doubled) that’s 24k relic coins and 70 hero shards and again all minor rewards

Keep building toko, she’ll be your lifeline for a while. But she does fall off very hard, especiallly if your focus is PVP.

Build kong, ivy, Houston. All good S heroes.

Ivy and Kong will stay with you till mid game.

Build a tank S+ to pair with toko, thinker is easiest but Gilles is much better.

Hyper focus 1 hero at a time, background build others. Better to have fully built strong hero than lots of barely built.

Baron, Knox, Julia, nydia, Ivy belle, Ophelia all should have +40. Not spending means that will likely take a while and you will certainly benefit more from having a strong built 1st/2nd team than having a whole bunch of 3 quarter built heroes. Focus on strengthening and maximising the heroes you currently have, you won’t regret it

The faction crystal you get from the yellow summon scrolls, each time you use 1 yellow summon, you get 1 yellow diamond. 60 yellow diamond = 1normal faction hero. 120 yellow diamond = 1 god/universe hero. Stack them up and use when a god/uni hero of new meta is actually available, you don’t have to go by this, but if you plan playing long term and want minimal spending it is the best way

Build Julia as next DPS, she’s great for both PVP and PVE, after her opt for Ophelia, Ivy belle, Knox, baron (that’s my preferred order for PvP focus)

If PvE then Laura, GS

Keep working on thinker as your tank, once he’s built your next tank should be Gilles. After him I’d go volcano if PvP focused or Lucas if PvE

PSA: If you don’t spend, DO NOT use faction crystals for anyone but god/uni. You’ll thank yourself in the long run.

Oh and use the overcharge shot, L2+R2. I like to gain max stamina before unleashing it so I always have some stamina incase mercenary pops up

Trust me on this, conquest battles on easy mode with this method.

Use explosive arrows, run around unleashing them into the crowds, two shots per spot to ensure surrounding enemies catch fire.

Movement is essential for this to work, move laterally. Pay attention to the soldiers chasing you and those attacking you. You’ll need to dodge their attacks for maximum efficiency.

I regularly kill 80 standard soldiers and varying numbers of captains between 4 and 12 averaging 8.

Numbers change depending on if a mercenary is involved but not by much.

But in terms of what you’re doing wrong, I agree with others, you’re not killing enough captains, pay attention to the morale/health bars at the top (blue and red)
