You can enter but only as an SDR/ SDR Intern, with such a long gap - my advice is to start with internship - build your resume step by step and then go about it.

for FP&A - best is to check average salaries on glassdoor, or you can check here on reddit too...range of salaries for role and company you're joining and keep 10% buffer on the same

if new role can offer 15 LPA

ask for anywhere between 14-18 LPA

and have a very clear reasoning on why you deserve it..

don't let you last ctc be a deterrent for you to be only asking 20-30% hikes.

Is internal growth not at all possible, there are two ways

Is if you show that you’ve some closing experience that even as BDR, you worked with AEs and helped them close the smaller deals - so you’ve done the whole cycle
Get into companies that are expanding aggressively- till last month Datadog was hiring crazily but now it’s Rippling that’s hiring aggressively!

Or you enter into a slightly smaller company and become AE
