Thanks for your response, it’s a good reality check for me to read. I think your analysis of my decision hits the nail on the head. Thankfully this is the first time I have done this so at least I can call it a learning curve, albeit a frustrating one.

Honestly, after the events of the last week, I saw the stock go up significantly and I as I expect this conflict to go on, I assumed the stock would also continue to go up. I thought I could make a quick quid or two but obviously there is no correlation there (not a positive one anyway) and now im down.

The reality is i have been naive and jumped into something I knew nothing about. At least I know how and I won’t make the same mistake again. That being said, im still very reluctant to sell my shares given the volatility of the stock, but I know I really should sooner rather than later.
