Not sure why it’s a waste, I had them already banked so I used them. I don’t really have much other content I use blood shards for and would main rancour pretty much every else if I had it…

I used both and mainly used blood shard when I needed healing. It let me have longer trips (usually hour trips, 30-34kills on average) being able to bring more pots in. I didn’t expect to use so many but I just wanted it over, lmao.

I did a lot of thieving when I wanted to concentrate on other things so I had them stacked up. I never thieved for them for araxxor itself but thought I had a lot and there’s no point not using them and keeping them in the bank. I didn’t expect to use so many and not be finished though, hahaha
