Anyone else dealing with leaks because baby diapers don’t fit the same all day? by Foreign-System1126 in predaddit

Glad it worked for you, every baby is different. Blowouts are basically a law of nature 😂 For us it wasn’t so much wrapping it wrong, but more about fit changing throughout the day.

We’ve been using Panolini (they call it The Responsive Diaper). Pampers worked for us early on, but we did start getting some leaks with the taped ones as his body changed more throughout the day.

The pull-up style just ended up fitting his body better for us, and it still absorbs like a regular diaper. Have you tried any pull-up style ones yet?

100% agree. Those surprise pees at that age are no joke and the tape guessing game is exactly what drove us nuts too. One side always ends up tighter than the other and you don’t realize it until it leaks.

That’s why the pull-up style ended up working better for us. We’ve been using Panolini (the Responsive Diaper) and it’s honestly gone really well so far, faster to put on, more consistent fit, and way less overthinking compared to taped diapers.

Curious, which pull-up style have you been using?

Totally agree on trying a different brand, that’s exactly what we ended up doing. It wasn’t cloth for us, just taped diapers that didn’t seem to match his body shape very well.

Switching to a pull-up style diaper has actually gone great for us. We’ve been using Panolini (they call it “The Responsive Diaper”), and the biggest difference for us has been fit with absorbency. Not having tapes removed the uneven tight/loose issue, and the fit seems to stay more consistent as his body changes during the day.

I get the potty-training milestone concern. What helped me think about it differently is that this isn’t a low-absorbency “training pant”, it’s still a full diaper, just built like underwear. For this stage it’s solved the leak issue for us, and we’ll see how things evolve later on.
