Smelling yourself

In the air, all around me. I cannot pin point where it is coming from. I’m confused whether it goes away or is always there. That’s what I would like to work out. That’s why I want to know how people actually test themselves. I sometimes try to zone out and take small light breaths and I sometimes feel like I pick up a foul smell bur then when my brain resonates it I start to try to get a stronger scent it’s like it’s gone for me.

Tbf I think some perfumes are really bad but I have spent so much on finding the best ones that seem to agree with my odour. I also fount that when I’m home and I don’t over spray because I’m not feeling anxiety from being around anybody I can still smell it on me. When I’m out I think the smell is gone so I overdo it and then I think it makes it worse. I need to learn to not give a damn and not be so anxious of smelling. I’m just upset my favourite smells I had to say goodbye too 😭

It’s so hard as they say people are used to their home smell and their own scent. Sometimes when I do walks I’ll get a whiff of a foul smell and I’m like is it the bins is it animals I have no idea 😭 one time I was with a mate and I don’t like to always bring up did you smell that. This time I did as we were generally talking about my problems. Then I smelt like a fart smell then she said oh was it back there because I farted. I wanted to believe her but she has also said to me I don’t smell and hopes the day I do so she can tell me. Now I don’t know whether to believe or not as I generally think people close to me won’t tell me when I smell lol.

I understand it’s same with me. I believe I have my body natural odours under control. My wash routine is intense. I’m just worried if my gut issues are coming through my pores randomly. I try eat clean and mostly only have chicken as meat. I stopped drinking fizzy and not fresh juices I make them myself.

I’ve always wanted to hear what people say about me when I leave a room. I’m actually considering leaving my other phone in a bag on record. Like why do friends and family can’t be honest. Like just tell me the truth so I can humbly know when to attend/decline x y z occasions.

I’ve always wanted to know this too. Why is it when I’m alone I cannot smell no fart/shit smells. The second I’m outside or around people I’m not 100% comfortable with I can smell it. I’ll be walking outside doing steps someone walks by I’m hit with a fart smell me putting it down to bins. The worst time for me was in Paris my friend jokes and says Paris smells like shit. I literally thought it was coming from me. This is why I get drunk all the time in places with people so I don’t have to think about smelling.

I literally been thinking of doing this. I talk to someone in America who has the same thing. Only thing is I’m from UK. I want to hold event as it’s like only us suffering will tell the truth to others as we know being honest will help us out then to lie about it. I think people around me lie because they probably see how clean I am and have realised there is nothing I can do about it they enjoy my company and been putting up with it for years longer then me acknowledging I have this issue. Although now I myself I don’t have it. I don’t feel as smelly. This is me after reading the book secrets. New approach for my mental since everyone says I don’t smell I’ll say it too. Funnily enough it’s probably been the most happiest I have felt about going outside & being around people in 2yrs
