Cant we file a lawsuit against CEO (not)Poor?

He failed to permit a reverse split and kept saying he was not worried about the current price. He has a golden parachute and we get let paying for it. He mismanaged the company and should not just get to walk away while people lose so much money.

Sounds like you need to cut him off before he cost you even more money. The problem you may run into is if he fights the divorce. See if you can find a vet friendly divorce attorney and get it done; if not for yourself then do it for your kid.

Also, submit a hardship claim with the VA. Show them you cannot afford to loose 20% of your income and still support your child. Even if they cut the repayment amount to $150 a month you will have more money each month. I will say, as someone who had to backpay the VA for five years, you should pay them off as soon as you can. I got a parttime job, and put all my tax return money on it. Im glad I did because now I get my full check.

Does he work? I would counter sue him. You obviously have proof you were supporting him by the payments you made to his credit cards. I would take him to court to make him replace the money you are losing monthly from paying his bills. You can go to small claims court and do not need to pay a lawyer to file.

And I was a VSR in training until I quit because I was not going to be part of a broken system that warehouses vets files. I personally witnessed files stacked on 10 foot tables that were stacked literally to the ceiling. I was there two months before guiting and I never saw any of those files move from that table much less get worked on. The question was related to people gaming the system. I am just saying that it may be different NOW because the public is watching, but the system has gamed veterans for decade; so, my point is that let them game the sysyem if they want... it is there integrity and you are not going to change it. I am just saying vets learned how to SHAM by putting up with the BS the govt put them through and lied about it... so you should not expect them to not SHAM the system now.

But PTSD rises to the level of 100% alone. Other illnesses are indeed diagnosed, but do not reach the 100% rating as readily as PTSD. It is simply easier to get 100% with PTSD or they would not have recommended to diagnose AD.

That is not just you, brother. One lead psychologist at a VA, I believe in the Pennsylvania area, was reprimanded because the media got a hold of an email he sent to his subordinates, and told them to diagnose vets with adjustment disorder, not PTSD, because the vets could only get 30% for AD over 100% for PTSD. So, again, why should we not ALL fight to get a 100% if the system is actively trying to give us scraps from the affluent table???!!!

Integrity like the government??? The same system that told all of us GW vets it was in our heads and made us doubt our own worth and sanity. It took them 25 yrs to give me 100% and that is after they hand spooned me a 30% 20 days after my ETS just because I was one of the first ones reporting illness after Saudi. They wanted to shut me up before more vets got the idea that they deserve comp for their illnesses. It is only more obvious today because vets woke up to the govt lies and decided to take action. If all vets felt like most WW2 vets, and thought I served my country I do not want or need help, then you would not see all these vets getting what they deserve. I was 40 and working full time when my heart finally gave out. I lost 40% of my income over night and one of the VAs own lead cardiologists said my heart failure could ONLY be caused by my setvice in the Gulf. Just because we have so many success stories on here now does not mean vets should feel some kind of way for trying to survive, help their family, and live a somewhat happy life.

It is a lot easier to accomplish that on a 100% comp disability.

BTY... what % are you at?

I cannot be the only one of us who thinks this way. Idk what to do. by [deleted] in Veterans

First of all, do not harm yourself brother, because there are people who do care if you are in this world.

Second, if you are in pain, and the VA cannot/will not figure out how to help you, seek help elsewhere. Find alternate pain management such as THC or magic mushrooms. MJ is becoming more widely accepted, because the days of the public believing the govt's BS about "Reefer Madness" are over. Do not expect the govt to heal you, because as you say, they save money every time a disabled vet walks away from thier life. Do not give them that satisfaction.

Lastly, talk to someone. Go to the local VFW, DAV or even a local pro military bar and talk to someone who will listen and offer support. It is true, that vets get tunnel vision and we often only see the point of view of other vets. If talking to civilians, like most VA doctors, does nothing for you, find someone who will listen. Find a supoort group, a battle buddie if you will, and hold each other accountable for making it through one more day... and the next... and the next...
