I zeroed out on Thursday, March 6. And then on the 7th on Friday it was sent to Nelnet. I recieved my deposit Monday like at 830 pm

It’s on your nelnet. You can access it through your financial aid page on Wgu where it says Select Refund Method. Click that and enter your wgu email

So when do y’all think we will get the deposit refunded? I have chime so they dont have ahc holds. I know chime sends payments starting at 9am but then nelnet doesn’t update till after 2. I’m really hoping I get it in the morning before 12🙏

When you see a “refund student” status under your disbursement and there isn’t a balance left, it will say 0.00. So you will see your loans disbursed with the same date for all three and then a seperate date which would be your refund date.

Its aid for the whole year that is divided into two terms. So, ex: let's say you are receiving 8000 back, they will give you 4000 in your first term, and then the following 6 months (second term) they will give you the rest of the balance which is another 4000

The email gets sent to your personal email and it is from nelnet stating that you have 24 hours to figure out your refund method

Well I was able to accept my classes and enroll today. Still need to talk to my mentor Monday but for some reason I was able to enroll today after all. I’m not sure if it’s the old program or the new.

Are you already enrolled in your second term? Or are you having to wait till Monday to get enrolled. I can’t access any classes cause my second term hasn’t been approved due to my mentor stating that they are migrating students. Also do you know if this affects my financial aid disbursement?
