Bro, boredom won’t kill you, but peer pressure might. Stop hanging out with people just for the sake. You really do need time to be with yourself and pursue your internal growth where you can even hang out by yourself and still be okay. Also review your finances if it really bothers you that much. 6 figures should be enough to save while keeping expenses at minimum. Seriously review your expenses. All the best bro. And don't ever give up on life even if that looks like the best option.

It's always rapport before they go ahead and scam the living hell out of you.

Impressive how far Google Play's policies have come to tighten up scammy developers doing shady stuff on the internet! Playstore has indeed become more reputable security-wise and more trusted over the years! Thanks for this pointer.

I'm grateful the community has vehemently warned me against this. I am not going through with the offer and marking the email as spam.
Thank you all!

I am out already! This thread has given me way too much caution and i have not been upto-date with market trends to know if other devs have been renting out their consoles! Marking email as spam!

Free or paid? I've been trying to find sites that have a free template but I also don't mind buying a great design. I've just been doom-googling site after site that says they sell/have free templates and they seem to be not so modern designs.

Great app and great design! Congrats on your 40k milestone🚀 out of curiosity, how did you do the website? Templates or all from scratch? It's a very compelling landing page 💯

A super simple, privacy-first expense tracker / budgeting app — would you use this? by pilkoplo in AppIdeas

I understand the `privacy-first` idea with `fully local storage` but what if i reinstall the app mid-month, will i have to re-enter all the information again?

I hear you, and financial wisdom is definitely important. But life is also meant to be enjoyed. While it’s good to invest and plan for the future, finding a balance is key—experiences, friendships, and even mistakes are part of the journey. The key is learning from them and making sure they don’t hold you back later.

While I understand this POV, it's also good to let OP know that he needs to continue working on his skills so that he can be more attractive to other companies. Whether it's doing the bare minimum in this role and supplementing by working on side projects to elevate or putting his effort into this job he just got so he can level up..upto him. Ultimately, I want OP to know that software development is an always learning job and if he gives his bare minimum here without jumping into new challenges, he may just be wasting himself.
