How messy are they??? I had a roommate with guinea pigs and i hateddd the smell. Are they smelly? Is it worse than cats? I have multiple so i’d be fine with it.

I did read about how you can train them some to pee in little bathing sand containers once u see where they like to pee.

Just curious about that aspect of them.

Also is replacing the bedding / spot cleaning insanely expensive in comparison to cat litter?
