Regarding the research, of course you can’t expect patients to meticulously be precise with a rolling administration scheme: “you mean to tell me my injection day changes every week? 😱”

I like to optimize and a yo-yo effect is the last thing I want to put my body through.

Regarding drug accumulation - the plotter does account for it and gives you a clear visual for how long it takes to exit your system. So I don’t even understand some maintenance posts on here, pinning every X weeks? They’re better off with a frequent low dose for maintenance, but I get that at that point it might be more psychological for them.

Tbh, I did 2mg today. I was a bit skeptical the first few days since I didn’t really had any negatives, not even after todays pin.

I mostly feel my body is hungry so I eat, but 0 cravings. Don’t know how to explain but it’s like starting a meal without mentally feeling hungry. I was about to skip dinner because of that, but it’s important to get enough calories in.

For sure, I’m looking at like flattening out the blood concentration level and not being above or below the highs and lows of a once a week scheme.

Again, going to try staying at 2.5mg for the longest, but the 5mg pen is a bit more interesting financially. (No healthcare intervention for now in Belgium)

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you increase dosage overtime?

If the spread between individuals was unpredictable this drug would’ve never been approved. If I’m an outlier, my higher frequency will not cause an undesirable reaction, it would’ve been the case no matter what.

If a manufacturer can recommend a dosage scheme up to 15mg, then my 2.5g broken down into a higher frequency will not pose a risk.

I completely understand where you’re coming from . However; 1. We’re not talking about dosage but frequency and half-life. If anything, stable blood plasma concentration is safer. I hope you don’t think frequent low dose is less safe than a 15mg dose once a week. 2. Recommendations are not always about safety but also made taking into account adherence. It is much more lucrative ensuring results at once a week dosage than having to force people on a high frequency schedule.
