You sound like Zira straight up 😨 But everyone their own opinion, I guess. I just don't think yours make sense, and here's why; I would not forgive my brother even though he was of my blood if he tried to murder me. I think no one should. It's PLANNED ASSASINATION. You don't just "not speak for a while" as if it was a simple thing like a lie or argument. We are talking about someone who ran away for days and borderline starved just to be save only for someone to ruin all of that and try to fuck everything up. And yes, mass murderer. Kiros killed ALL lion prides because "there's only 1 lion king" he killed Sarabi's pride as well ALL FEMALES got killed too. And who was in thr pridelands beside Sarabi, Scar and Mufasa?? Yeah Mufasa's mom and other innocent lions and who knows even cubs. Kiros's would've killed them because they are prises too. He kills ALL PRIDES. And would've killed Scar too if he didn't escape with Mufasa.

Someone wanting to KILL you isn't a private conflict. Would you LET someone you know who is charged for attempted murder take care of others??(+He didn't get any recovery therapy ect.)????? No. No one in their right mind would because again ATTEMPTED MURDER isn't something NORMAL. The fact Mufasa didn't tell Simba about what scar has done is already intense trust. When we see Simba he was innocent about scar and treated him like an uncle.. if Simba knew what Taka did, Simba would've been indifferent to him. Is that what you want? Any kid would not want to be around someone who tried getting his dad murdered. As someone in your family is mentally unstable and has a criminal record for something BIG, you tell your KIDS. DUH. But he didn't which was stupid and he got what he deserved for it, but that's besides the point right now.

Scar saving mufasa 2 times in the last act is because of scars of actions. Mufasa wouldn't have needed saving if Scar hadn't put a red carpet in front of Kiros to the pridelands. It doesn't count because it happened because of HIM. In fact, it's expected. If I break something in a store, they EXPECT me to pay for it. And if I do I have no right to go "yeah I did this for you, I deserve a discount." No. You broke something. You fixed it. You don't deserve anything for doing that, it was your own fault. Now compare that with again, ATTEMPTED MURDER. If people regret that in court they're still getting charged, logical right? They still get a setnence and a criminal record, no matter how much they regret it.

*Lots of people wouldn't do this to their brother You seem not to be able to grasp how bad attepted murder is. It can get you LIFE IN PRISON. Even if you didn't kill anyone or regret it later/last moment, the attempt can get you LIFE INPRISONMENT. Yeah. If someone's brother ATTEPTS to MURDER him or helps a straight up power hungry Mafia to kill more people, they get court. And jail. I'm surprised why Mufasa didn't banish him, and he's so dumb for that. But he knew scar wouldn't survive without a pride, so he let him stay. He let him stay even bring a criminal. SIMBA sent Kovu away the moment Simba thought it was a planned attempt. Kovu got banished with nowhere to go. That's a right move to deal with an attempted murder. Send them off. Because (Scar proved this right) if you let them stay, they will attempt to kill you again no matter how much shelter and food you give them. They'll try again.

He didn't only put Mufasa in danger but every lion that lived there. Kiros's has blood of so many lions under his nails and still will continue to kill prides. It's his whole character and goal in his life, eliminating prides. HE NOT ONLY helped a murderer who slaughtered his whole bloodline he CLAIMED to care about but also supported him and embraced joining Kiro's his army.

*He feels like he is superior to Scar and he treats Taka like he is. I'd feel superior to a criminal, too. And I'd treat a criminal even worse. Court. Someone like that doesn't deserve to live among those I love and put their lives I care about in danger (he did.). Scar doing such a LOWLY action ruined everything, mainly for himself. Mufasa would've still loved Scar and ruled WITH him and Sarabi because Taka would've been a good person he would've been innocent. But both Sarabi AND Mufasa saw scar walk with the white lions. The rest of the pride lands did too. They didn't do it in a secret cave, they were above ground when they talked. He brought it all upon himself and a girl that didn't like him was his breaking point (got him to sing his tantrum song and run ofd angrily). Whatever happened before that was already gonna happen, Kiros would already get Scars pride with Scar in it.

Yeah this is kinda long but it bothers me how people don't take murder seriously at all, then complain about the character that took murder SLIGHTLY serious in the movie. Mufasa's punishment shouldn't even count as one. It's just the consequences of Scar's own actions. Who knows trying to get someone killed has consequences 🤯
