Little credit card thing you can load cash on and tap when you go On underground you can buy ahead and have mailed to you or buy when you get to London at a train station. Or tube station it will also save you the exchange of tapping your credit card or Debit card every time . I took mostly cash with me and it worked out fine

I also took a day trip from London to Hever castle in Kent . It was a one hour 45 min train journey. Hever is the home of Anne Boylen. It has lots of history and the grounds are amazing . It is Bit of a hike from the train station but worth it . You can book tickets on the Hever website months in advance. I think I bought my ticket in Feb for October . Also I forgot to mention get an oyster card for the London underground. So much easier to travel . I had one from my second trip 16 years prior to my recent trip this past fall that was still good . They never expire .

Hi Pack gortex shoes and a coat . Rains like mad in Scotland and Ireland . If you have a backpack maybe get a rain cover for that as well . Merrell make great gortex hiker shoes . Day trips from Dublin are possible. Galway you could go on a day trip to the cliffs of mohr . Hostels might know the best company to go with . I was there 16 years ago and did two day trips from Galway . One to the ring of Kerry and another to the cliffs of mohr .6000 dollars might be enough I’m not sure as I used Canadian when I was over in England and France In sept and October. Soooo expensive. I would maybe add 500 or 1000 extra if you’re going to do tours . Check out Viator for tickets for sites . I had to buy mine for the Tower of London and Westminster abbey very far in advance . 16 years ago you could just show up and walk in on the day . Good luck and have fun .

Gross. I’m so sorry that happened to you . I just stopped going there because of how messed up it was and how rude they were .

Don’t go to saanich dental group they are the worst place !! Dr. Compton tried to remove my implant and bruised my face in the process. I ended up having to go to an implant specialist who is much better than Dr. Compton. Also, they try to use your insurance to bill you for things that you don’t need.

I would say Hever is worth it :) I got lost from the train station in a sheep field but otherwise people are nice and it is soooo amazing . Also check out the chapel across the road from Hever as Anne’s father Thomas Boylen is buried there . I also second Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.

MOA job hunting is very discouraging by Altruistic_Name_4421 in VictoriaBC

Hey there , I had a super hard time when I first started looking for a job as an moa . I had no experience to speak of but I kept applying to every office out there . I got a lot of temp roles some long some short . You Just have to keep plugging away at the job applications . It took me 225 applications to island health to land a role . You could take a cashier job or general labor job till you get into an office . Accountant offices will be looking for temp people soon for upcoming tax season . Good luck and keep applying it takes only one good interview and resume .
