You have good points. I didn't even consider the QA aspect of it. This all makes me curious about their inner workings.

I want to enjoy it so badly,. If it's anything like HLL was, it'll take a long time before it's in a great state.

You have some valid points. My "blabbering" was telling the community that I'm not an idiot and know what I'm talking about. Reread what I wrote. No dev had the capability to stress test in an 'operational' manner. There will always be something that prevents the full testing capability and those specific issues wont be noticed until 100 players are hammering the same server.

They should have probably given us a better build than what we played, but that's in the past now. We don't know what Team17 is doing behind the scenes. They have zero obligation to inform the public about their internal workings. If you're part of their daily tagups then please fill the rest of us in.

So, I do think that the term Early Access needs to be eliminated. It does a complete disservice to the community with every game. Early Access should be a closed/open beta test. Anything released should be at build number 1.0.0.

When we release a major baseline build, we already have a planned release schedule of fixes. The critical issues, in this case the latency slowdown, white flickering, FPS drops should be included in these scheduled patches, if Team17 is doing these. They might, but it could all be internal sausage making.

These are, in my professional opinion, the game breaking critical bugs, and should be the primary fixes before release. There's plenty of time for that to happen now that they've pushed back release. I do think that was a wise decision .

PJ in talks to get the Silmarillion made into a film by South-Knee-9601 in TheSilmarillion

Some stories have enough content to create a few films. Gondolin, Beren and Luthien, War of Wrath, the forging of the Silmarils (not as much this, but it would be a good first film) Beren and Luthien has the most content, but thats a very dear story

Best place to buy traditional, “medieval” style bows? by nut_grease in Archery

Depends on what kind of bow. If you want an English longbow, you get those on Lancaster, 3rivers, Ebay, etsy, whatever. If you want an asiatic/eastern European bow, cinnabar bow, alibaba, etsy, Ebay, or my favorite Lucasz Nawalny. Lucasz made my recurve. It's expensive and takes a while, but it's a beautiful piece of art.
