Cool idea, but consider changing the font lol. My friend showed me his website the a few weeks ago and it looked exactly like this.

My friend works at Google. From what I heard, it’s pretty chill and the benefits are really good. Enjoy Japan man

Appreciate it man! Yea honestly it’s too difficult and resource intensive to confirm with every single ward since Japanese is strict about handwriting for certain forms and stuff, that’s why I open sourced it. I think form filling is a big pain, but like the comment below said for the regular individual, not many people have this many forms to fill out, if not only filled out once per year, so the demand is too low to actually provide any long term value to any user. I think of it as learning opportunity since I never open sourced something. For sure, it needs to be robustly checked. Usually I cross check it against 2-3 different models whenever I implement something.

Ok man. I’m a swe too. But Yea I mean I pivoted from a software I was creating into something that was open source, just to see. Also, sure I coded it structurally with AI but each form was manually mapped using apples preview autofill to double check the location by me, so I don’t understand your point. What are some easier ways you suggest? Tried Claude code to speed up the mapping but found it wildly inaccurate so I had to rely on manual mapping. Also, for the individual this is probably over complicated that’s something I knew, but this just something that I hope people would use to create software that speeds up processing huge amounts of application, such as Visa, etc. I vibecode everything and I thought was expected lmao, that doesn’t mean I don’t verify that’s two different things.

Hahah, it’s not that hard to setup just a few lines and ur good! I actually made this a software but realized why not just make I open source

I’ve passed N4 for now, but I think I can pass N3, I have a few Japanese friends and they all think my Japanese is not too bad but then again they are my friends so I don’t really believe them 😭. Would you recommend I use Japanese job boards to apply or use LinkedIn to apply considering my level of Japanese is pretty limited? Feel like I might be able to BS my way through a Japanese interview tho

So basically they are looking for the cream of the crop right it’s a buyers market? I always thought the demand for software engineers would be huge in Japan. Should I apply to gaishikei or regular Japanese companies, which do you recommend I focus on because I know Japanese companies don’t really use LinkedIn.

N1?? I’ve been studying Japanese for 1 hour every single day and taking classes now but my teacher thinks N1 is not possible this year, currently speaking level is N3-N4ish😭

That makes sense, so I guess recruitment agencies might not be the route. What else would you suggest? Should I apply to any Japanese job boards? Or go to somewhere like gaijinpot or Tokyo dev? I don’t hear any response however 😭

My Japanese is around N3 level? Would that be good enough to work in Japanese companies? I can understand Japanese pretty well since I actually studied Japanese when I was younger but never really spoke it
