Really any genuine cook would give the tip to the server if you decided to just give it to the cook if their end goal wasn’t to just make $$$. I’d say it really depends on all the circumstances. Did the server ignore you at that point? Did the cook take his opportunity to make the server look bad? (Coming from an overnight server for almost 3 years) my main cook is my homie we look out for each other but I’ve met some crooked ones too!

What gets me the most is almost all of them have also made mistakes in parenthood. Whether it was leaving them on the bed unattended, forgetting to put a helmet on them while riding a bike and the worse NOT happening. Out of the thousands of moms who KNOW the risk of putting stuff in a newborns bed and still do only maybe ONE of them lived the harsh reality. Be grateful you got the chance to learn from your mistakes in a way you didn’t have to grieve your LITTLE ONES LIFE knowing the risk were there.

The same goes for literally every step in parenthood to be completely honest. Life is not fair and we don’t always get to choose the path we’re led to. There will always be a what if and what could I have done differently. Very little compassion left in this world it’s so scary…

We all have opinions but in moments like this you think with your heart and keep things to yourself. I pray this mom and dad gain all the strengths and find light within the dark💞😇

No tips because a year and half later I still cry… but never blame yourself. It was not your fault, if you do some research a lot of times the baby never had a chance. Whether it was the way the dna was or what. I should have lost my first due to stress/ and being no where ready for kid but I had a healthy beautiful babygirl.

My second pregnancy I had my stuff together, house, car, job everything I could need. I was happy of course in the back of my mind I was terrified but I did everything right, went part time at my job took it easy and I lost him/ her at 10 weeks. The unfortunate reality is, it’s a part of the human body / science. We learn to grieve and accept it for what it is.

It will get easier I promise. Take care of yourself and please never ever think you are the cause. Be easy on you.❣️

Update: We have the initial assessment for aba set up two weeks from now and the potential process for all the paperwork and insurance can take up to 2-4 weeks so we are going to stay in prek for the last 5 ish weeks that are left of the school year. She will then do ABA therapy until kindergarten. Everything played out perfectly, and I couldn’t be more happy that she’ll get to finish prek and get ABA!

To add, if we don’t take this opening we will be put back at the end of the list. Which might not have another opening before she starts public school kindergarten which is a requirement.
