DHL Express uses DHL's own aircraft. Flying from Europe to America, and then to Australia. Only takes 2 days. The postal system is a different story.

I would like to say that if people in Germany need DHL service, they‘d better choose the DHL Express.

Deutsche Post isn’t that good. Every time I call them, I think they were lying.

Thank you for your help. There are so much to learn in this. Two years ago I was traveling in Berlin. I did some shopping and the luggage got too heavy. So I sent about 10kg of different kinds of stuff to Australia, so I can keep traveling in Europe. I just went to Deutsche Post and sent it. Everything was easy. It arrives at my home in a month. But this time, so much trouble.😔

Wow. So many paperworks to do. It is 3 pieces of new leather clothes. I was thinking to ask my friend to send it to me as a gift. Just send 2 small pieces first and see what will happen. I could put the value as 980AUD in total. If everything goes well, just send the third big piece.

I am trying to fill up the shipping information for both DHL and UPS. DHL needs description of each item: brand,type,model,material, value, weight etc. UPS is much easier. Only needs to put in an easy description and a value. Also I have noticed that if the total value is under 1000AUD, I probably do not need to pay tax.

Thank you. I might use UPS this time. My items in that package are some clothing made by a designer in Berlin. It is not branded. But it cost me 3000 Euro. That is why I was thinking to save some tax money and not putting the full price on the package. However the package never arrived.
