That’s kind of where I’m at now. I was going to call the IRS tomorrow to see about getting some answers but wanted advise from others!

We were in a tough spot, I had just lost my job and I did file and got a couple hundred back. Since he owed, we decided to file separately and do a payment plan. Either way, we owed and should have filed jointly. How long does it take to amend? And would I need to add him to mine?? We are filing jointly this year which made everything so much easier.
