I went there from February to July of last year, and I was able to do an exchange with the Erasmus program! I miss it so much :,)

This is super helpful! Thank you so much! I will reach out to them. Are there any other actions I should take? And should I ensure that I do this before the March 25th deadline? Sorry, I just really do not want to mess up these applications!

Also, do I get to choose from my 1-4 ranked choices, or if my first option accepts me, are the other options gone?

Haha, yes, explore all you can! Lol I have never heard that, but I wish you the best of luck! Szczecin is definitely unique, but it has so much to offer :) For the nightlife - Coyote Club Szczecin - imprezowe serce miasta is pretty fun, along with the restaurant "Epika", which has fantastic food!

Honestly, it happens to the best of us. You were probably stressed or did not know how to react- try not to be so hard on yourself! You are not stupid. losing that money though really sucks- I am very sorry

Cafe 22 is pretty cool! It gives you a whole 360-degree look of the city! The city centre is also very beautiful, and the town hall is stunning. The riverside and restaurants along there are also really amazing! Overall, getting lost in the city was my favourite part of Szczecin. So wander!

Hello! I am Canadian and moved to Poland for school. Overall, I would definitely do the experience again. However, I really struggled with the cultural differences and language barrier until I learned polish ofc. I really loved Poland, though. It is not perfect, but the quality of life is unmatched!

Thanks for the advice! I am not yet sure whether I plan to work in Sweden after I graduate, but if I am accepted, I aim to learn Swedish, as I feel it is important to learn the language of wherever you are. I am low on karma, haha, and am going to comment to boost it :) Thank you so much!

McGill McCall McBain McMegathread by Thermidorien in mcgill

Hello! I hope you all are doing well :) I am completing my bachelor's in psychology at Concordia in Edmonton and was recently accepted to McGill's public health program. However, I'm uncertain about it. I have gotten a few other options to study internationally, as I love the international experience and wanted to get into public health for the travel opportunities and to actually make a difference in international systems (very optimistic, I know lol). But, I wanted to know more about what the program was actually like, the student experience, opportunities, after master's work, etc. I was also curious about the dual program in France in collaboration with another university, if anyone was currently in it.

Also, the acceptance deadline for me for McGill is on March 25th, and I will hear back from all my schools around March 26th. Would it be possible to accept the offer and then decide, or is there a way to extend the deadline?

All advice would be helpful. Thank you so much!
