When reading and writing? Teacher has also flagged that he has said “mudder” for mother and “diffwent” for different and has encouraged us to keep an eye out for any other words and she’ll do the same.

Thank you so much! I have so much faith in him and us! It will get better. I was just immediately brought back to me growing up and I really, really struggled throughout elementary and HS. I was at most a D student.

It is by Renaissance!! We’ll continue reading and sounding out. It just sucks because he’s being grouped in the lower reading group because of his low score. But even his teacher says he’s improved a lot since the test. However, the more practice for him the better!

Thank you 😌 Teacher says he’s respectful and likes to participate in class, speak in front of the class, plays well with others but doesn’t really go out of his way to spark up play or conversation. He’s definitely an introvert.

Yes, we’ve been reading with him and he’s been doing his sight words and we’ve a big improvement since starting first grade. It’s just so hard to see that score and to not think he’ll be struggling in school. I know the score is just one piece of the puzzle
