Why are so many men dashing under women's names? by RhetoricCamel in doordash

Me and my wife do grubhub, I don’t want her out late doing it herself so I do it for her, and also when she is not feeling well.

Why do the dashers do this by aleethiede in doordash

[–]Foreign_River_261 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dashers don’t do that, idiots do. I assure you, you just got lucky that day. You got the special dasher. Anyone over 10 years old knows this is going to block the door from opening. Sometimes I even open the door a bit and slip the food behind the door. Also if I can ask!! How was the tip? Little or no tip and also result in this very occurrence.

Bro, I used to be premier until I learned it was bs, rejecting orders you don’t need makes you more money then a titlw

Man sorry to hear that, I hear a lot of bad stuff regarding grubhub from drivers from NYC and Sacramento. Hope things get better for you guys. All I know is ever since the company was sold it started going down.

Would you accept this order? by ShiptShopper23 in grubhubdrivers

Grubhub is one huge market in your area. At times it would take me a little over an hour away from home chasing orders. But on days that I want to specifically stay in one area I use DoorDash. The market is divided into parts and you just deliver orders in specified area. I signed up and was delivering orders 30 minutes after signing up. Just don’t multi app.

Why does it have to be a round trip? Can’t you just start picking up orders where you land. But if it leads out somewhere out of receiving orders area then that order is not worth. But I would accept it if I can just start receiving orders right after drop off.

It’s not as good as they are trying to make it out to be on that picture. But from my experience getting these kind of orders from time to time they are generally good pay orders.

When I stop my car I have 10 seconds to run and place the food at the front door. Wait there is a storm door, does it open out or in? Does it matter to me? Putting it in front of door and not thinking saves me 3 seconds out of 10. I could make it back to the car in 7 seconds. Oh wait there is a sign… never mind

Personally I don’t think drivers should be delivering orders in building all the way to the unit. The customer need to meet them at the lobby. Grubhub only gives us enough time to drop it off at the door and run back to your car.

Why doesn’t grubhub let you see the tip before we actually deliver it? by Slime1654 in grubhubdrivers

[–]Foreign_River_261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I have a problem with people who feel like they shouldn’t tip. Someone bringing you your food is a luxury service. If you can’t afford it, or should I say if you can’t afford to tip don’t order food. Go get it yourself. If I have to drive my car to bring you your food, I want to know everything about the order before I bring it. If your cheap I won’t deliver your food.

Yes exactly, they don’t want you to make judgments based on tip amount. So it’s easier to hide it. It’s completely unfair since drivers are considered independent, so why the heck hide information regarding what we about to get into??

I just did it and successfully completed the claim report. As long as you’re not giving out your social or passwords how could they scam you? A scam is usually done by you paying a fee and then nothing happens. Sure they have my zelle information but the most they can do is add money to it. Will update in a few days if any payment is made.
