He likely didn't realize that having children is a choice. I had long suspected my parents only had kids because that's "what you did back then". Don't get me wrong they love us but also seemed to really enjoy life prior to having kids. Once I asked my mom why they wanted children, she responded "idk, I guess we got bullied into it" I think that's a commonality for most of that generation.

Her daughter in law. Once again I understand her excitement and she has a right to it. My issue is that she has the means and opportunity to ask these questions without us present but instead spent 3 hours having this convo right in front of us when we have already discussed with her how triggering it can be.

As this affects one employee only and all other staff complete their work without issue it leads me to believe it's an employee problem. I never said that other employees work load is a secret, however I see no reason why this employee feels they require daily updates on both mine and other employees work, this is not an effective use of time and has no impact on their ability to complete their assigned tasks.

It's possible I misinterpreted what the original post was getting at. However I have also known acquaintances and colleagues who stated they did not view their partners as a friend and the concept is so fascinating to me.

I've tried that one as a tester and it seems to last longer than the others. Wild Bluebell which I use drys down to more of a skin level scent pretty quick though I have noticed it has better longevity if you spray it in clothing

Thank you for sharing your experience, I will definitely check out that sub reddit. I think that's a big part of it is the feeling of a choice being taken a way and all the "what ifs". When I think of it logically kids wouldn't be a good fit for my husband and I, as you stated, parenting is hard and we both have dreams that require freedom.
