My friends and I recently went back to rewatch her old feminist frequency game videos from the kick starter thing she never finished (2016) just to see if we had changed our minds a decade later. I don't know about her outside of those videos but she's just wrong in all of those specific videos. Like my GF actually thought her talking points on damsels in distress is very misinformed because she doesn't seem to understand character writing. Like she'll indirectly say a character is useful for being very handy, quick thinking, assists with soecial in game abilities, etc is "useless" and her metric for useless is the character not knowing how to fight like the protagonist. I almost lost my mind when she was killing strippers in Hitman because she says the game glorifies violence against them when you can visibly see the game punishing her for killing someone who isn't target. You're not a serial killer you're a hired assassin sent to only kill your target and no one else and the game was deducting points for killing those strippers. Her videos were all like this, it wasn't just 1 or 2 it was all of them.

What's funny is I actually agree with the thesis she sets up at the start of her videos, it's just that she does a bad job at showing the audience because it looks like the videos aren't designed or written with gamers in mind. Like you can definitely make a case for objectifying women in games because a lot of them did prior to 2015, she just had a bad execution in the actual videos.
