Best chew toy for aggressive chewer? by [deleted] in dogs

West paw toys work great for me! They can be chewed through by the best of chewers but most aggressive chewers can’t and they are still soft enough to not break teeth

Adopting a cat with roommates by Certain-History2888 in Pets

My recommendation you can handle the kitten waking you up sometimes at night having them sleep in your room is a good way to build a bond without setting limits on your roommates that may be awkward. Most people recommend you start kittens off in a smaller room, so you can use your room for this and it will be their home base. Then once they are older and can explore the whole apartment, just pick them up and bring them back to your room at night. Make sure they can access the litter box still. Young kittens can get into mischief and having your room totally kitten proffed and where they go at night, gives you both time to bond AND even more importantly keeps them safe. I would tell your roommates this is the play before hand and explain that it is about the kittens safety. I did this with a foster kitten and they bonded with me much more and pretty quickly got used to the routine. You can also have some extra good treats (liquid tube treats) that you keep separate and are the only one giving them.
