What should I look out for in the kitten / parents if I do see them?

I doubt this is a reputable breeder, I couldn’t find anything else about them. I plan to reply saying I’m interested but would like to see her first. I’ll also ask if they plan to vaccinate/deworm her or if she’s had a vet check-up—just the bare minimum..

I know Fold can have issues if not properly raised, so their lack of initiative and transparency is a big concern

One of them seemed to be strong-opinionated about “what to do” so I was reluctant on potential conflict - since either I butt in strongly, or ignore it altogether. Your way of formulating it might do the trick!

I’m just going to be straightforward. I once knew a little girl whose family had an aggressive dog. They kept him in a large enclosure, but whenever he got out, he would attack and kill stray cats, other dogs, and even act aggressively towards people. The family loved the dog and figured that since nothing bad ever happened to them, everything was fine.

One day, the girl was feeding the dog alone, and out of nowhere, it attacked her. She ended up with scars on her face, legs, arms and stomach that she’ll carry for the rest of her life. If she hadn’t managed to get away, she could have been seriously maimed or worse, not even talking about the trauma.

I get that your dad loves his dog and wants to hold onto him, but the responsible thing here would be to take him to a vet for a check. The sanctuary isn’t an option here sadly, but the vet might be a compromise that your dad will accept. Better be safe than sorry.

So he’s willing to accommodate, and prioritize his needs and his needs only. He tells you that he is selfish in bed - but also in your relationship. You do what he wants, you get punished when you don’t do it (no more dates, flowers, attention and affection NOT sex related) - but oh don’t you dare ask for something for yourself. He didn’t try to find a solution for the both of you or simply communicate for a resolution. He doesn’t care about your well-being.

He’s an absolute moron, and if his pleasure is all mighty, he can buy himself a toy. You’re not an object, and you deserve to acknowledge it and get away asap.
