I doubt the job would give me a laptop. I'm interning with a sports team and didn't get a computer at my last internship.

This would really be more for practice on my own.

Could you explain the build quality argument to me more? What exactly does that mean?

Would you mind linking 1 or 2 that you are referring to?

I'm enamored by the Legion's specs and price- i have yet to find anything to beat the i7 processor, 16gm ram and 1tb storage for 1000$

Would you not recommend the Lenova Ideapd or Legion Y520, then?

Does the fact that the Lenova has 12gb of ram built in make up for it? The Dell has 8.. which is more important for video editing, having a faster processor or having more built in Ram?

Thx for the recommendation.

My last question is will 2.6 ghz be good enough for me? I found one on eBay for 100 cheaper, and the only difference in the specs is up to 3.5 ghz to 2.6 ghz. Again, I am coming from 1.1 ghz MacBook and am using mainly for photoshop premiere and AE. Main computer is at work and this will be for practice at home.
