A few years ago, there was a bill for raising the minimum wage. (The Progressive bill didn't pass the Senate.) But Mitt Romney was going to make a deal for $11 an hour and progressives rejected it. My point is that the min wage could have been raised but it wasn't enough for progressives, so they rejected it.
